Daily Poshak & Shringar

नित्य श्रृंगार

Soft cottons and simple sets for everyday seva

Most poshak in a home mandir is worn on ordinary days, not festivals. Daily poshak is cotton or cotton-silk, light on the idol, and made to be washed often without losing its shape.

Buying in pairs is the practical move: one worn while the other dries. Households doing daily shringar usually keep four to six and rotate them through the week.

घर के मंदिर में अधिकतर पोशाक साधारण दिनों में ही पहनाई जाती है। सूती और सूती-रेशमी पोशाक हल्की होती है और बार-बार धोने पर भी अपना रूप बनाए रखती है।

Questions

How many poshak do I actually need?
Four to six for daily use, plus one or two festive sets. That covers a full week with washing time.
Can daily poshak go in a machine?
Cotton sets can, on a cold gentle cycle. Anything with gota or zari should be hand washed.
